For His Efforts to Fight the Environmental Crisis Al Gore Received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007

Al Gore has long been a very eco-friendly supporter of creating a better environment for the world.  His award winning book, An Inconvenient Truth, has been recognized as one of the best on the crisis of the environment that the world faces unless something is done. The Alliance for Climate Protection was founded by Al Gore and is dedicated to changing public opinion about the environment problems that we face and must answer.  He has become the driving force behind Live Earth which supports climate control to save the environment.  For his efforts Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in late 2007 for his  fight on the environmental crisis.

You would certainly recognize Ed Begley Jr. as an actor and a star of stage, screen, and television.  Did you know that Begley is also very eco-friendly and is a very strong supporter of environmental issues in the United States and across the world.  He uses both his voice and money to help support those organization that work at improving and guarding the environment from harm.  He has received many awards from some of the most prestigious environmental groups across the country.  He has served as chairman of the board for groups like: Tree People, Earth Communications Office, Thoreau Institute, Environmental Media Association, and Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.

The Former President of the U.S.A. Is Helping to Save and Protect the Environment

You might know Bill Clinton as a former President of the United States but he is also eco-friendly with his charity and foundation work over the past years and into the future.  Certainly he is very much a supporter and contributor for world heath issues but is also a supporter of a better and cleaner environment.  The Clinton Foundation Climate Change Intiative  provides resources for participating cities to help save on energy costs and there by helping to save and protect the environment with better control of energy costs and savings.  He continues to use his voice and his foundations to help create a better environment for the world.
