Quick Eco-Driving Tips

With the cost of fuel continuing it’s upward trend and the quality of air continuing it’s downward trend, we should all be attempting to be better eco-drivers.

Changing a few simple habits can make a difference in both our pocketbooks and our environment.

Things like:

  • Stopping the lead foot habit and replacing it with a more gentle acceleration
  • Slowing down … more speed equals more fuel consumption
  • Planning our route
  • Keeping our vehicles in peak running condition
  • Combining our errands into one trip
  • Driving at a steady speed.. avoid quick starts and stops
