The passion of Harrison Ford is to protect and save the environment.  Ford has been eco-friendly for a very long time and continues to support with his voice and his money environmental issues that affect the world.  He particularly like the organization Conservation International, which is one of the largest research groups for the environment.  It provides funding for scientists in over thirty countries to identify and overcome biodiversity threats.  It works in tropical wilderness areas and wetlands in particular.  Ford now sits on the Executive Committee of that organization after serving as chairman of the board.  He also supports Earthwise which is a group that educates people about conservation.
